Job description

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Dubai, UAE. The Accountant will manage financial records, prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also oversee daily bookkeeping, monitor bank statements, follow up on credits and international payments, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily bookkeeping and bank statement reconciliation.
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with agreements and policies.
  • Verify POs and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to client/vendor inquiries promptly.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Follow up with banks on international payments.
  • Maintain expense reports and pass journal entries.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain professional integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
