Job Overview:

This role will focus on the sales, promotion, and technical support of General products to industrial clients across various sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in General products product range, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Drive sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities and expanding market share for General products and solutions.
  • Product Expertise: Serve as a subject-matter expert on General products, providing in-depth technical knowledge to customers and helping them understand solutions meet their specific needs.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Work with customers to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate products, solutions, and systems.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for Enerpac products, assisting customers with product specifications, installation, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Solution Selling: Offer customized solutions that integrate products with the customer’s existing operations, ensuring maximum value and efficiency.
  • Product Demonstrations & Training: Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical training sessions to showcase capabilities and benefits.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, report progress regularly, and update management on market developments, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers, understanding their evolving needs and offering solutions to meet them.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform business strategy and ensure Enerpac products remain competitive.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of solutions.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations, close sales, and ensure the terms align with company goals while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.), Business, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role, specifically related to hydraulic tools, industrial equipment, or energy solutions or general products
  • In-depth knowledge of Enerpac products, systems, and applications in industrial sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience with large project sales, including proposals, quotes, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams across the organization.
  • Certifications related to industrial equipment or product management
