About the Role

We're looking for a capable, detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager. In this role, you'll oversee the finance function, manage full-cycle accounting across multiple entities, oversee inventory control, and ensure tax compliance in both the UAE and KSA. You'll also support monthly reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, helping the leadership team make informed, data-driven decisions.

You'll be responsible for full-cycle accounting, inventory control, financial reporting, and tax compliance across the UAE and KSA. You'll also support the leadership team with monthly management reports, budgeting, and financial analysis, helping the business make data-driven decisions as it scales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Manage and maintain accurate accounting records across multiple Shopify stores and QuickBooks accounts
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost of goods sold, stock movements, and product margin reporting
• Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and merchant accounts across AED and SAR
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in both UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring full compliance
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including supplier invoicing, payment schedules, and credit notes
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet
• Build and maintain budget vs actual reports, assisting with forecasting and variance analysis
• Support the creation of basic financial models for internal planning and investment decks
• Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and year-end audits
• Strengthen internal controls and help improve accounting and inventory processes

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years accounting experience, ideally in an e-commerce or product-based business
• Advanced QuickBooks experience, including managing multiple entities or stores
• Strong working knowledge of Shopify, inventory systems, and SKU-level reporting
• Proven experience handling UAE and KSA VAT filings and local compliance
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and update financial models and reporting tools
• Experience preparing budget vs actuals and working with non-finance stakeholders
• Analytical, organized, and self-sufficient with high attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving startup environment
