Job description

• We are seeking a friendly and efficient individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while handling sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner

• Assist customers with inquiries, help them locate products, and offer advice or recommendations

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronic devices

• Accurately process sales transactions, ensuring correct pricing, quantities, and payment methods

• Provide receipts for all purchases and handle cash, credit, and debit card payments

• Balance the cash register at the end of shifts and generate reports for management

• Process returns and exchanges, and effectively resolve customer complaints or concerns

• Package purchases securely by bagging or wrapping items to ensure safe transport

• Follow all store policies related to coupons, gift cards, and restricted items (e.g., alcohol or tobacco)

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Qualifications:
