About the Role : We are a leading player in the Interior Fit-Out sector, seeking a skilled and highly experienced Technical Design Manager to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all technical aspects of the design process for interior fit-out projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Technical Design Leadership :

• Lead and manage a team of technical designers, providing guidance and expertise throughout the design process.
• Collaborate with project management teams to define project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
• Oversee the development and implementation of design concepts, ensuring adherence to specifications, codes, and standards.
• Provide technical support to resolve design challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Design Coordination :

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders for seamless design integration.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify potential conflicts or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and fittings.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.

Quality Control and Assurance :

• Conduct thorough reviews and inspections of design deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and inconsistencies.
• Monitor design progress and provide regular updates to the project management team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Team Management and Development :

• Recruit, train, and mentor technical design staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.
• Promote professional development through training and workshops.
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team.
• UAE resident with a valid UAE driving license ( mandatory ).
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical design management within the interior fit-out sector, preferably in Dubai or the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out design principles, materials, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D modeling tools, rendering software).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices and green building certification is a plus.
