An established industry player is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This role involves working on innovative HVAC and MEP systems for major infrastructure projects, including airports and hospitals. B.Tech/M.Tech or BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering degree.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Strong knowledge of Autodesk Product Design Suite (specifically AutoCAD, Navisworks Simulate, AutoCAD Raster Design, Autodesk Recap) and/or Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Fusion 360.
Understanding a range of engineering functions and procedures.
Knowledge of HVAC systems like Chilled Water Systems, Cooling Towers, Primary & Secondary pumping systems, Hot Water Systems, different types of AHUs, FCUs, VAV systems, etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning HVAC & MEP systems for infrastructure projects like airports, commercial buildings, hospitals.
Must be a quick learner & should have a keen eye for problem-solving.
Demonstrated skills, experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently.
Proficient in written and verbal communication.
Excellent time management & follow-through skills.
Contact management skills.
Must exhibit superior customer service.
UAE Driving license preferred.
Read and interpret BOQ and specifications.
Prepare and participate in design reviews.
Maintain a professional rapport with engineers, HVAC consultants, contractors, and end clients.
Coordinate design efforts with all other groups and maintain project records.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures.
Review MEP drawings & identify HVAC equipment, customer-specific requirements, and customization opportunities.
Ensure product quality.
Generation of initial review sheets and RFIs.
Preparation of I/O Summary.
Adhere to all processes and guidelines to execute projects within timeline.
Visit mechanical engineers, consultants, procurement, and contractors to ensure our products are successfully specified.
Provide job quotes to clients based on their project requirements.
Become an invaluable technical advisor to the engineering and contractor community from the initial design phase through commissioning.
Complete required reporting such as scheduling, target accounts, call reports, expenses, etc.
Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs.
Embrace new technologies and business strategies.
