Job Description
  1. Receive job orders and necessary parts, tools, and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles following manufacturer’s repair techniques.
  2. Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and effective use of repair time.
  3. Report delays in repairs to the Team Leader, including reasons such as unavailability of parts.
  4. Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts, and manage parts for warranty or customer requests.
  5. Properly record clocking in/out and write up repair orders as per procedures.
  6. Immediately alert the Team Leader if additional work is required, work is unnecessary, or repairs cannot be completed as scheduled.
  7. Return or store unused parts properly and dispose of used parts environmentally responsibly.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of work area, service tools, and comply with health and safety standards.
  9. Ensure personal tools are safe; report any breakages or accidents promptly.
  10. Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and replacing brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, etc.
  11. Perform routine maintenance and general mechanical work on vehicles.
