Job Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for acquiring new customers by selling existing products and services while developing business opportunities within a defined territory or customer segment. You will identify potential clients, develop sales strategies to penetrate these accounts and expand relationships to maximize revenue growth. This position requires a high level of self-motivation, persistence and creativity in seeking out new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
Generating leads and identifying new business opportunities through prospecting efforts
Identifying qualified prospects and developing them into viable business opportunities
Making cold calls to generate interest and set up meetings with key decision makers
Developing and delivering compelling presentations to senior management on why our solutions are a good fit for their needs
Negotiating contracts and closing deals
Building long term relationships with clients by providing excellent service and support
Staying current on industry trends and understanding how they impact your customers businesses
Keeping accurate records of all activities related to client acquisition efforts

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience in a professional sales environment required
Proven track record of success in a consultative sales process
Strong communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Excellent organizational abilities including time management, prioritization, multitasking and follow through
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Knowledge of financial services industry preferred
Experience using CRM systems
Solid negotiation skills
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
