Job description

Role Purpose: Expert, Marketing at Zain Omantel International (ZOI) will play a central role in planning, executing, and optimizing a wide range of marketing and communication activities that support the company's strategic goals. This role requires a well-rounded marketing professional with experience in digital marketing, brand communications, event coordination, content development, and campaign management preferably with a B2B and international wholesale telecommunication environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and strategic, with a passion for storytelling that builds brand equity and drives business results.

Kety Accountabilities & Activities:

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Assist in the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans aligned with ZOI's business objectives.
  • Identify target audience, key messages, and marketing strategy for optimal campaign impact
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment.

Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • Oversee the management of our social media profiles, curating content that fosters engagement and strengthens our brand within the wholesale telecommunications community.
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns, track performance, and optimize for results.
  • Oversee the aesthetic aspects of the website and social media, ensuring that they are visually appealing to our target audience.
  • Work closely with event planners to develop creative themes and visuals for corporate events, enhancing the overall attendee experience.
  • Utilize SEO and content marketing strategies to enhance our website's visibility and relevance to our B2B audience, driving traffic and engagement.
  • Develop and oversee a regular newsletter schedule, crafting content that informs, educates, and engages our B2B clients and partners on industry trends, company news, and product offerings.
  • Employ direct marketing techniques to personalize communication and strengthen relationships with key business clients and partners.
  • Implement metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of brand and creative strategies, using data to make informed adjustments and optimize performance across all channels.

Event Management and Networking

  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, and webinars that cater to our wholesale clients and partners, ensuring a memorable brand experience.
  • Leverage events as a platform for networking, brand promotion, and establishing thought leadership within the industry.
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience and message across all touchpoints with our B2B audience.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in B2B marketing, telecommunications, and creative strategies, incorporating innovative ideas and technologies to keep our brand at the forefront of the industry.

Drive Customer Centric Growth

  • Lead the customer journey mapping process across ZOI's key wholesale customer segments (e.g., Carriers, Hyperscalers, data center partners)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify all customer touchpoints and pain points.
  • Create and maintain detailed customer personas and journey maps
  • Use insights to develop personalized marketing strategies and optimize touchpoint effectiveness
  • Translate customer insights into marketing campaigns and digital initiatives that enhance engagement and ROI.

Knowledge / Technical Skills

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities,
  • Familiarity with digital tools.
  • Analytical mindset with a talent for identifying strategies that increase brand loyalty and market share.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in telecom and technology, and how they impact consumer behavior and marketing strategies.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for brand-building and storytelling.
  • Strategic mindset, able to connect creative concepts with business objectives.
  • High level of initiative, independence, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead creative teams.

Education /Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

Proven experience (5+ years) in brand management, creative direction, or a similar role in the telecommunications industry or a related sector.
