PRIMARY FUNCTION:
- Responsible for making a good first impression on hotel guests, provide assistance to all guests by promptly responding to requests, offering guidance, moving luggage, showing guests to their rooms and acting as a concierge.
- Welcome all guests per company standards, greet and escort them to rooms, assist with doors, and explain room features and hotel amenities.
- Handle guest luggage during arrival and departure, assist with vehicle entry/exit, manage luggage storage, and arrange or communicate transportation needs.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of hotel services and local attractions, restaurants, shopping, and transportation to respond accurately to guest inquiries and offer recommendations.
- Deliver VIP amenities, laundry, and dry cleaning to rooms; assist with guest service requests and report completed tasks to the supervisor.
- Stay alert to unusual guest behavior or incidents and report observations or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least secondary education / high school.
- Minimum of 1 year experiences in a similar role and/or experience in any customer-focused related in 4 to 5-Star Hotel industry
- Good in English language, spoken and written sills
- Knowledge of OPERA PMS system, Excel and Words strongly preferred
- Positive attitude and good communication skills both written and verbal
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Ability to work on your own or part of a team.
- Understanding of safety practices.
- Physically sturdy to carry heavy luggage and stamina to stand for long hours.
- Able to work under pressure and on shift schedule
