Merchandiser - Pharma Division

We are seeking a detail-oriented Merchandiser to ensure our products are well-displayed, adequately stocked, and effectively promoted in retail outlets. The ideal candidate will maintain strong relationships with store managers, optimize shelf space, and ensure timely collection of receivables. This role requires strong organizational skills, market awareness, and efficient account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Merchandising & Display Management:
  2. Ensure proper display and visibility of products in retail stores, pharmacies, or supermarkets.
  3. Arrange shelves, stands, and promotional materials according to company guidelines.
  4. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with sales teams to prevent shortages.
  5. Ensure compliance with brand standards and promotional agreements.
  1. Sales & Customer Relationship Management:
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and purchasing personnel.
  3. Execute sales promotions and marketing campaigns smoothly.
  4. Provide feedback on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to meet customer demand.
  1. Receivables & Collection Management:
  2. Ensure correct processing and delivery of invoices.
  3. Follow up with retailers and distributors for timely payments.
  4. Track outstanding receivables and coordinate with finance to reduce overdue accounts.
  5. Address payment disputes and assist in resolving collection issues.
  6. Maintain accurate records of accounts, sales, and collections.
  1. Market & Business Development:
  2. Identify opportunities to boost product visibility and sales.
  3. Recommend improvements in display techniques and promotional activities.
  4. Stay informed on competitor placements and pricing strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, sales, or retail management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stores/accounts.
  • Basic knowledge of invoicing, receivables, and collections.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and reporting tools.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
