Position: Operation officer - home finance loan
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Preferred Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years of Home Finance Operations experience.
2. Thorough knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
Knowledge and Skills
- Sound knowledge of Home Finance loan booking processes, after-sales service procedures, and policies.
- Strong understanding of both Sharia-compliant and conventional banking practices.
- Proficient in banking systems and applications, including Newgen, T24, DDS, ICCS, and AECB.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel; capable of preparing and maintaining operational reports and MIS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, with effective planning and time management skills.
- Customer-focused with a proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring service excellence.
- Adaptable and able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Functional Role:
Operational Responsibilities
- Input DDA registration, amendments, cancellations, generate payments, and other related tasks in the DDA system.
- Process all after-sales service requests to meet banking requirements and adhere to SLA/TAT.
- Prepare customer letters (LL, NOC, Clearance, Mortgage Release, AECB, etc.) and coordinate signatures and system registration.
- Handle loan closure requests from branch networks, call centers, and other banks, completing necessary system entries.
- Prepare mortgage release documents and collateral handover acknowledgment, and follow up for signed acknowledgments.
- Register transactions related to evaluation fees for Home Finance products.
- Reconcile transactions in Nostro/Internal Accounts related to Home Finance with Finance Department.
- Process customer deferment requests and ensure EMI releases.
- Update customer details in the AECB system as instructed.
- Respond promptly to internal teams on operations-related inquiries.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (banks, insurance providers, vendors) to support customer operations.
- Log and follow up on system issues with ITD.
- Maintain accurate collateral records and update inventory logs.
- Report incidents to the Department head and support follow-up actions.
- Follow guidelines from Compliance/Risk/Audit and escalate issues to the Director/Head of Home Finance Operations.
- Prepare monthly insurance declaration reports for review.
- Conduct testing for Home Finance Operations Products/Systems.
- Manage responsibilities of the Home Finance Operations/Fulfillment Departments in the absence of the team.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager/Director/Head of Home Finance Operations.
