Job summary

A leading company is seeking a QC Supervisor for Material Receiving in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in material inspection within the EPC industry, particularly in Oil & Gas. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with project standards, conducting inspections, and collaborating with project teams. This is an onsite position with a contract duration of 2 years, possibly renewable.

Qualifications

  • CICPA Required
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in material receiving and inspection within the EPC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of materials received.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of materials for damage and discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to ADNOC onshore standards and requirements.

Skills

Fluency in English
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Job description

We are looking for a QC Supervisor Material Receiving - Mechanical for one of our clients with the following details :

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE (Onsite)

Start Date : ASAP (Flexible)

Contract Duration : 2 years, possibly renewable

Qualification and Experience Required :

  • CICPA Required
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in material receiving and inspection within the EPC industry, specifically in the Oil & Gas sector
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy / Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities :

  1. Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of materials received for the projects to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
  2. Review and check materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and other relevant documentation.
  3. Conduct thorough inspections of materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the procurement and project management teams.
  4. Ensure proper documentation and labeling of received materials, including certificates of compliance and material test reports.
  5. Collaborate with project engineers, project quality managers, and suppliers to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies.
  6. Initiate and support detailed inspection records, reports, and documentation for audit purposes.
  7. Ensure adherence to ADNOC onshore standards and requirements.
  8. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor the condition and storage of materials.
  9. Provide training and guidance to project personnel on material receiving and inspection procedures.
