Job description

The Market Director Leisure & Entertainment shall develop and oversee all service delivery, including win work client management and delivery of services for clients & projects in the Leisure & Entertainment Market for the Middle East. They shall be directly responsible for the performance of the Leisure & Entertainment Market from a revenue and EBIT perspective, as outlined within the Market's yearly targets.

The measurable aspects and KPIs for this role include:

  1. Market Strategy: Market performance aligned with LRP Business Plan and targets specific to Leisure & Entertainment, including P&L EBIT and Headcount targets.
  2. Win Work Regional Bid Performance: Achieve a bid win rate of over 50% on submitted bids in line with LRP targets.
  3. Business Development: Support strategies for identifying new clients and market opportunities within Cities and Communities and for Atkins Ralis overall.
  4. Resource Demand & Management: Lead recruitment, retention, and performance management, ensuring resources are aligned with budgets and strategic planning.
  5. Leadership & Vision: Provide leadership demonstrating Atkins Ralis values, with team feedback reflecting positive performance.
  6. LRP & Business Plans: Manage and develop Leisure & Entertainment business strategies, providing monthly updates on progress.
  7. Future Business Plan Development: Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term business plans for the Market.

The core responsibilities include:

  1. Profitable Delivery: Oversee bid processes, develop win themes, manage client relationships, and ensure successful project start-up and delivery.
  2. Market Lead & Operational Excellence: Ensure best practices, manage market risks, identify trends, and oversee project delivery.
  3. Leadership & Management: Develop organizational design, promote collaborative behaviors, drive learning and development, manage budgets, ensure technical excellence, and foster lessons learned and digital transformation initiatives.
  4. Key Interfaces: Develop marketing strategies, produce thought leadership, provide peer reviews, and communicate performance feedback.

The role requires strong business management skills, extensive P&L management experience, a proven client network in the GCC Leisure & Entertainment sector, excellent presentation skills, and regional market expertise. The candidate should have direct experience managing a successful P&L, preferably with client-side experience in Leisure & Entertainment, a related degree, and at least 15 years of experience.
