• Role: AIX Administrator
• Location : Fujairah, Onsite
• Contract Duration : 1 year
• Budget: 12k AED

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain AIX operating systems and servers.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of AIX infrastructure.
• Perform regular system backups and restore operations.
• Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes to AIX systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on AIX platforms.
• Implement and manage system security and compliance measures.
• Collaborate to integrate AIX systems with other network resources.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an AIX Administrator or similar role.
• Proven expertise in AIX operating system administration.
• Strong understanding of AIX server hardware and software management.
• Experience with system backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• AIX certification is a plus.
