Job description

The Cabin Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising, performing, and monitoring all Cabin Maintenance activities on Etihad Airways aircraft to ensure high standards of serviceability and appearance for our guests. The supervisor leads, coaches, and mentors Cabin Maintenance teams to develop their proficiency, knowledge, and capabilities.

Accountabilities

1. Safety & Quality: Ensure full compliance with Etihad Airways, Safety & Quality, and Regulatory procedures. Proactively monitor staff health, safety, and work performance requirements. Ensure tasks are completed using approved tooling and maintenance data. Promote a safety and incident reporting culture.
2. Conduct regular performance evaluations, mentorship, and training to improve team competence.
3. Ensure accurate submission of Lost Tool Reports immediately in accordance with Etihad procedures.
4. Operational Performance: Plan all scheduled day-to-day manpower allocation against EY CAMO Planning & Line Maintenance requirements.
5. Lead the team to ensure all activities are carried out within the scope of approval and in accordance with applicable manuals (AMM, CMM, TPM, etc.). Assign tasks, prioritize workload, and ensure efficient use of resources.
6. Audit and monitor aircraft cabin and maintenance activities. Report on areas of concern, repeat findings, and identify trends within the aircraft cabin.

Education & Experience

1. Basic aviation license or equivalent aviation diploma/apprenticeship.
2. At least five years of experience working in a live aviation environment in ramp operations.
3. Extensive knowledge of cabin interior products and maintenance, gained in line or hangar environments, covering all aspects of routine maintenance on premium and economy seats and cabin products.
4. Good English written and verbal communication skills.
5. UAE driving license (preferable).
