We are currently seeking an experienced Treasury Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in real estate development treasury operations in the UAE and Europe with proven track record in working with top-tier firms. Key Responsibilities:

Banking and Treasury

• Prepare Weekly Cash Report and monthly cash flow forecast
• Identify excess funds and recommend short-term deposits
• Coordinate with banks on KYC and FATCA requirements
• Manage bank mandates and ensure liquidity for payments
• Review bank reconciliations and transactions, and prepare treasury journals

Monthly Closing

• Process accruals for loan interest and deposits
• Prepare prepayment and amortization schedules
• Review the trial balance

Annual Audit

• Assist in preparing schedules for the annual audit
• Coordinate with auditors and provide supporting documents
• Review bank and related party balances

Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports
• Create reports for joint venture entities and equity utilization

Payments

• Monitor and process treasury-related payments
• Oversee UK Direct Debits, HMRC, VAT, and other payments

General

• Maintain accurate filing of payment vouchers and documents
• Perform ad hoc tasks to support the finance department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a finance related discipline from a recognized college/university
• Experience using Treasury Management System, preferably Kyriba
• Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in a similar role including banking KYC and treasury, ideally within real estate development in Dubai.
• Strong accounting skills and understanding of chart of accounts
• Good knowledge of treasury products and deposits in the banking market
• Prior experience working in an ERP environment is required, Yardi experience preferred
• Proficient user of MS Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail & accuracy
