Caregiver/Healthcare Assistant - Home Health Care Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caregiver to join our dedicated care team in the home health care industry. You will play a caregiver role which is crucial in the delivery of exceptional care to our patients in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure quality care is carried out efficiently and effectively for the significant health outcome of the patient.

Job Role: Caregiver/Healthcare Assistant

Qualifications:

1. Certified Nursing Assistant/Diploma
2. Knowledge of DHA practice guidelines
3. Broad knowledge of evidence-based practices
4. CPR certification (BLS for healthcare providers)
5. Home Care experience (Min. 1 year) in Dubai

Requirements:

1. Experience in Elderly care, IV therapy, Urine catheter, PEG tube feeding, pregnancy & Post-Partum care.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
3. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in home health care or a related field.
4. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills for lead conversion.
5. In-depth knowledge of home health care regulations and best practices.
6. Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
7. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and situations.
8. Ability and fortitude to work beyond normal clinical duties.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, psychological, and social factors.
2. Engage in home visits for patients, ensuring adequate coverage and timely delivery of care.
3. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and Nursing supervisor to develop and modify patient care plans as necessary.
4. Care activities to be followed include bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and bed positioning.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures in home health care.
6. Participate in ongoing training of nursing staff.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
