Job Purpose:
To carry out effective and efficient repair and maintenance of customer vehicles following the approved manufacturers' repair techniques.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collect job orders and the necessary materials, tools, and equipment to carry out repairs and maintenance on customers' vehicles in accordance with the manufacturers' repair techniques.
- Ensure accurate fault diagnosis and effective utilization of time allocated for repairs. Report to the Team Leader any delays due to unavailability of parts or other reasons.
- Ensure all additional repairs are authorized; parts are booked to the repair order. In case of warranty repairs or parts exchange programs, return removed parts to the parts department in the same carton to facilitate audits and credit processes. For retail jobs, keep old parts inside the vehicle except batteries and parts that may stain the interior trim or carpet.
- Service personal tools, keep lifts and work areas clean, and comply with health and safety standards.
- Upgrade knowledge regularly through web-based courses and classroom training.
- Keep all personal tools safe. Report any breakages or accidents immediately to the Team Leader/Supervisor or Tool room for replacement.
- Maintain efficiency and productivity above 100%.
- Ensure proper clocking on/off in the system and accurate write-up in the repair order as per procedures.
- Return or store unused parts properly as per company procedures. Dispose of used parts in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Work extra hours if necessary to complete jobs and ensure customer satisfaction, as per Team Leader's requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Ferrari or Maserati technician.
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering.
- Industrial Technical Institute (ITI) - Certified Auto Technician Course (2-year vocational course).
- Fluent in English communication.
- Ability to perform all kinds of mechanical repairs, including advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex issues.
