Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, connect, and test solar PV systems including panels, inverters, and associated electrical components in line with DEWA regulations.

• Perform electrical wiring and conduit installations for solar systems (AC and DC).

• Commission and test systems to ensure functionality and compliance with DEWA guidelines.

• Interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and system layouts.

• Ensure all installations meet safety, quality, and electrical code standards (DEWA, UAE Fire Code, and international standards).

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting for residential and commercial solar systems.

• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and DEWA inspectors during installation and approval stages.

• Maintain detailed documentation of installation work, including test reports and checklists.

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental protocols during work execution.

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in solar panel electrical fittings and solar PV system installation.

• In-depth knowledge of DEWA Shams Dubai program and compliance requirements.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and DEWA solar standards.

• Familiarity with PV system components (panels, inverters, junction boxes, breakers, surge protectors, etc.).

• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Preferred Certifications:

• DEWA-certified PV Installer (or eligible for certification).

• First Aid & Electrical Safety training.

• Knowledge of UAE Fire & Electrical Codes.

Key Skills:
