Job description

This position analyzes end-user requirements, responds to and resolves more complex end-user requests/issues, participates in end-user support and training activities, acts in the role of analyst to define/refine business processes and support end-user reporting needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a system analyst or in a related role, with a proven track record of successfully analyzing and implementing complex systems.
• Proven ability to analyze and implement complex systems and solutions.
• Serve as the ERP subject matter expert, understanding detailed system functionality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing.
• Demonstrated ability to actively listen, distill problems or needs, and translate them into requirements that can be turned into solutions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Partnering with key stakeholders to analyze business processes and customer needs.
• Assessing the impact of patches and bug fixes on customizations.
• Researching new releases/updates to optimize business processes.
• Performing fit/gap analysis and assisting functional owners in developing functional specifications.
• Collaborating with functional owners to create business workflows and identify solutions.
• Working with technical developers to provide support, reports, queries, and workflows.
• Coordinating troubleshooting, functional testing, defect tracking, and resolution efforts.
• Developing and maintaining documentation on requirements, specifications, testing procedures, and configurations.
• Monitoring ongoing operations and performing performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Supporting deployment to production environments.
• Analyzing and creating process models, including context flow diagrams, use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and workflows.
• Defining technical architecture and creating data mapping documents.
• Gathering requirements through elicitation meetings.
• Performing root cause analysis, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending solutions.
• Participating in process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
