Scope:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and developing business opportunities for both fuel and non-fuel services within their designated region.
This role involves identifying and acquiring new customers, managing and growing existing accounts, and exploring new business opportunities and services across various regions and airports.
BDMs Region:
The required BDMs should be based in the following regions:
- Mediterranean East Region: English & Arabic speaking (BASED in DUBAI)
- Western Europe: English & French / German speaking (BASED in DUBAI or Remotely in EU)
- CIS & Eastern Europe: English & Russian speaking (BASED in DUBAI or Remotely in CIS)
- Africa: English & Arabic & French speaking (Remotely: BASED in AFRICA)
- North & South America: English & Spanish speaking (Remotely: BASED in USA)
- China: English & Mandarin speaking (Remotely: BASED in CHINA)
- Asia & Australia: English speaking (Remotely: BASED in ASIA)
Responsibilities
o New Customer Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential customers operating aircraft under Part 91, Part 135, Part 121, and military operations.
- Promote Blue Wings AVIA's comprehensive range of services, including fuel and non-fuel services.
- Negotiate the best deals and pricing to secure new business.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Identify and onboard reputable clients with strong market presence and proven payment reliability to ensure timely service fee collection and minimize bad debt or delayed receivables.
o Account Management:
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Regularly communicate with current clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute plans to grow business with existing clients by introducing new services or expanding into new regions or airports.
o Business Development:
- Explore and identify new business opportunities for fuel, non-fuel, and FBO network services in various regions and airports.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify potential growth areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new service offerings.
- Support the finance team in following up on and facilitating the collection of delayed payments from assigned customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales and business development within the aviation industry.
- Proven track record of acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Knowledge of fuel, non-fuel, and FBO network services in the aviation industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
