Qualifications

Job description

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of parts to verify conformance to specifications, drawings, and quality standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP).
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and documentation checks on composite layups, curing cycles, and trimmed parts.
  • Complete inspection records, non-conformance reports (NCRs), create SOP and maintain traceability records.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanroom procedures, FOD prevention, and environmental control related to composite material handling.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or training in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection in aerospace composites, preferably involving prepreg and lamination.
  • Familiarity with composite materials, resin systems, layup procedures, and cleanroom standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ISO 9001).
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications.
  • Certification in NDT (e.g., Level I/II in UT or visual inspection) is a strong advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy (spreadsheet creation, KPI...).
