Job Requirements- Proven experience in a technical service or repair role within the AVL or related electronics industry.
- Strong knowledge of signal flow and systems integration in professional audio, video, and lighting setups.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot down to the component/board level.
- Proficient in soldering and rework of surface-mount and through-hole components.
- Familiarity with digital and analog electronics, including schematics and circuit analysis.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc.).
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in professional audio, video, and lighting equipment.
- Perform board-level electronic diagnostics and component-level repairs using appropriate tools (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering equipment).
- Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and testing of AVL gear to manufacturer specifications.
- Document fault symptoms, diagnostic steps, and repair actions in service management systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain technical documentation, parts, and support.
- Support field service calls and on-site diagnostics when necessary.
- Assist with product modifications, upgrades, and custom integrations as required.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and ESD-compliant service bench/workshop.
- Keep up to date with evolving AVL technologies and equipment.
