Responsibilities :

1. Manage all aspects of the PMC Engineering group, including daily work allocation and supervision, and oversee the Contractor during the Engineering and Procurement phases of the project.
2. Ensure PMC Engineering personnel are competent to perform their duties as outlined in the PMC Contract.
3. Lead the development and implementation of engineering processes, procedures, and systems within the Engineering group.
4. Ensure proper resourcing of the Engineering group with the appropriate disciplines and team size to meet contract requirements.
5. Provide independent Project Management Consultancy services, technical opinions, and advice on project shortfalls, recovery plans, risk mitigation, and overall project progress during engineering and procurement phases.
6. Participate in design reviews, considering constructability, testability, operability, maintainability, environmental factors, safety, fire protection, and material selection.
7. Coordinate technical reviews and manage vendor document processing.
8. Obtain Owner approval for engineering designs in accordance with contract requirements.
9. Manage daily interactions between project disciplines such as Piping, Mechanical, Structural, E&I, and specialists.
10. Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required.
11. Conduct succession planning and performance assessments within the engineering team.
12. Ensure team adherence to procedures for efficiency and quality ('right first time').
13. Provide development opportunities to enhance team members' experience and capabilities.
14. Lead safety during site visits.
15. Develop effective working practices for the project management team.
16. Lead and coordinate technical and governance aspects throughout project stages.
17. Define project objectives, organize the project team, assign responsibilities, and motivate team members towards project goals.
18. Delegate work responsibly and ensure achievement of performance, cost, quality, and HSE targets.
19. Provide guidance to stakeholders during project execution.
20. Oversee interactions with contracting parties, owners, government bodies, and existing facilities.
21. Manage complex issues across project phases and existing facilities.
22. Lead the project team and contractors to ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
23. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls.
24. Engage with diverse cultures and backgrounds, resolving conflicts and challenges within a multicultural workforce.
25. Conduct technical evaluations of bids, issue clarifications, and prepare evaluation reports and recommendations.
26. Incorporate field-requested or initiated changes into engineering deliverables where applicable.

Qualifications and Experience :

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (minimum 4 years).
2. Experience in the oil & gas industry.
3. Experience working in GCC countries.
4. Experience with FEED & EPC projects.
5. Experience in PMC roles.
6. Experience in offshore and upstream projects, with offshore project experience preferred.
7. Experience with ADNOC projects is advantageous.
