Position: Sales Manager - Venue Services and Store Front
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are seeking a Sales Manager Venue Services and Store Front to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business and operational plan focused on venue services, covering both exclusive and non-exclusive offerings. A key part of the role is to drive Store Front sales by reaching out to venue owners to onboard their venues onto the Store Front platform. The successful candidate will also be responsible for devising a targeted marketing strategy and identifying opportunities to maximise revenue through the provision of additional services to Store Front-listed venues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and market analysis to identify new markets and business segments both locally and regionally, while actively pursuing opportunities to partner with venues for the provision of venue services.
- Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to onboard venues to the Store Front platform and create opportunities to offer additional services at venues leased through Store Front.
- Execute the sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets related to venue service partnerships and Store Front, through effective client servicing, new client acquisition, and by delivering a strong value proposition.
- Maintain and work towards achieving individual financial targets that contribute to the wider organisational goals.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with venue owners, contractors, vendors, and government authorities to secure favourable rates, terms, and necessary permits.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners across various venues, ensuring alignment with company objectives and favourable conditions.
- Adhere to the organization policies and procedures, including timely system updates and meeting established deadlines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 35 years experience in sales, business development, or venue management, preferably within the events, exhibitions, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong understanding of local and regional market dynamics, with the ability to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Proven track record in developing and executing sales and marketing plans, achieving revenue targets, and driving client acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with venue owners, suppliers, government entities, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with experience in securing favourable terms aligned with organisational goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools; familiarity with sales tracking platforms is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required, and to work extended hours when necessary.
