(GSE) Maintenance Technician Jobs in Dubai, UAE

In this role, you will:

1. Ensure assigned work team maintains good housekeeping in the work area, cleanliness of assets, and that all tools are fit for use.
2. Follow standard safety procedures during maintenance activities to prevent injuries and equipment or vehicle damage.
3. Ensure calibration and certification of tools and lifting equipment are current, reporting discrepancies or damages.
4. Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, asset reliability, and safety improvements, escalating ideas to the Master Level Technician.
5. Perform express servicing, minor, intermediate, and major preventive maintenance as per provided checklists on equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
6. Diagnose breakdowns and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
7. Guide junior team members in maintenance and repair activities.
8. Conduct daily inspections for operational reliability and safety, reporting findings to the master technician.
9. Assist with refurbishment and modification programs, identify spare parts and tools needed, and support smooth material flow within the automated system.
10. Report asset conditions during maintenance, highlight faults, and support asset evaluation and refurbishment programs.
11. Ensure all activities are accurately recorded in the work order for proper logging and planning.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification:

• Degree or Diploma in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics, or Diesel Engine from a recognized institution.
• Degree holders with 2-4 years or diploma holders with 4-6 years of maintenance experience in industries such as:
• GSE and cargo workshops at airports, baggage handling, automotive workshops, heavy equipment, process & manufacturing industries, transportation industries.
• Certificates in technical courses like Welding, Hydraulics, PLCs, Fabrication, Battery Handling, etc.
• Training from equipment suppliers or automotive manufacturers is a plus.
• UAE Driving Licence preferred for ADP access.
• Proficient in maintenance practices and English Level 3 skills.
