Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist with Real Estate experience and exposure to Construction and Building Material - Category Management to join our team. Role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for goods and services related to real estate operations, including property acquisition, development, construction, maintenance, and facility management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes for real estate projects, including RFP/RFQ creation, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, development, construction, and property management teams) to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Source and manage relationships with vendors and contractors specializing in construction, property management, architecture, engineering, and facilities.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contract terms, timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Maintain procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and supplier evaluations.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to optimize purchasing decisions and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to procurement and real estate transactions.
  • Assist with due diligence processes during property acquisitions and development phases.
  • Support sustainability and diversity initiatives in supplier selection and contract execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5 - 8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in real estate, construction, or property development sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with procurement software and real estate project management tools.
  • Knowledge of contract law, vendor compliance, and real estate-related procurement practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with commercial, residential, and mixed-use property procurement cycles.
  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) or real estate (e.g., CCIM, CPM) is a plus.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with legal, finance, and development departments.
