We are hiring for a Senior Finance Manager for a firm with a focus on the FMCG sector. The role covers ASEAN countries and is based in Jakarta.

About the Role

Prism Consulting Group is a boutique executive search firm. We are hiring a Senior / Group Finance Manager to join our FMCG industry client's high-impact finance team in the Middle East. This is a strategic and hands-on role that combines financial controllership (60-65%) with business finance partnership (35-40%), ideal for a finance leader who values accuracy and growth.

You will work closely with senior leadership to maintain financial discipline, ensure compliance, and leverage data-driven insights to shape business strategy. This is a lean, high-ownership role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Controllership & Compliance

• Ensure accurate financial reporting, bookkeeping, audits, and statutory compliance.
• Lead internal controls and governance, and manage relationships with statutory auditors.
• Uphold financial integrity and discipline across the region.

Business Finance & Strategy

• Partner with leadership to develop strategic financial plans and drive sustainable growth.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Analyze key business metrics and provide insights to influence strategic decisions.

Financial Operations & Risk Management

• Manage cash flow, profitability, and cost controls.
• Implement financial controls and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to tax, regulatory, and governance standards.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with banks, auditors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Deliver clear, insightful financial presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support multi-country operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA / CPA or MBA in Finance from a Tier-1/2 institution.
• 10+ years of financial leadership experience, ideally in FMCG.
• Strong understanding of FMCG operations, pricing, supply chain, and distribution.
• Proven success in strategic planning, financial analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with systems like SAP and a commitment to process simplification and automation.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Managing large distributor relationships in the Middle East.
• Exposure to regional legal frameworks and corporate structures.
• Experience working with IT/Tech support or digital finance tools.
• Cross-border finance leadership across multiple GCC markets.
