THE ROLE

Based in the Abu Dhabi Regional Office and reporting to the VAS and Cross-sell Manager, you will oversee business development for CMA CGM Value Added Services and cross-selling with CEVA across the Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, Indian Ocean Islands, Southern & Eastern Africa.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a VIE Marketing Officer, your responsibilities include:

Value Added Services Commercial Development

  • Develop and implement strategies for Value Added Services in regional agencies, collaborating with General Managers and Commercial Directors to meet sales targets.
  • Align local strategies with the Group's headquarters priorities, including pricing and sales objectives.
  • Set and pursue annual targets for each country-specific agency.
  • Communicate strategies, objectives, and best practices to local sales teams.
  • Monitor agency performance, ensuring objectives are met, and report progress monthly to the Head of VAS Sales.
  • Coordinate training and support for VAS Champions and sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to promote our services.
  • Promote VAS actively during local exhibitions and events.
  • Identify sales opportunities, develop customer proposals, and support sales efforts during client visits.
  • Gather feedback from the sales network to improve products and processes, collaborating with Product Managers.
  • Provide market feedback and conduct benchmarking against competitors.

Coordination with CEVA
  • Promote CEVA products and services internally and set targets for cross-selling.
  • Manage lead creation and follow-up.
  • Monitor cross-sell performance and generate reports.
  • Develop new cross-sell initiatives.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Applicants must be aged 18-28, European nationals, in accordance with French National Service Code Article L122-1.
  • Possess a postgraduate degree (5-6 years) in Business or Marketing, preferably with sales experience.
  • Fluent in English, proficient in Office tools, with strong presentation skills. An interest or experience in shipping is advantageous.
  • Autonomous with excellent social and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with various departments across regions.
