Mission statement

We seek a dynamic Director of Derivative Sales to lead and grow our derivatives business, focusing on expanding our institutional and corporate client base in digital assets. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will develop strategies to increase revenue through derivatives such as options, futures, and structured products, while building long-term partnerships with token issuers, foundations, and financial institutions. This role requires deep market expertise and proven sales leadership.

Job Description

  • Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement sales strategies targeting institutional clients, identify high-value leads, and drive the full sales cycle.
  • Client Relationship Management : Build long-term relationships, understand client goals, and ensure high satisfaction.
  • Product Expansion & Innovation : Collaborate with teams to design bespoke derivative solutions, identify cross-selling opportunities, and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Market Analysis & Insights : Conduct market research, develop risk models, and provide strategic insights.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership : Work with sales teams and cross-functional departments, mentor junior staff, and represent Keyrock at industry events.

Background And Experience

  • 8+ years in business development or sales within financial services, with at least 3+ years in digital assets or crypto derivatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of derivatives and blockchain ecosystems.
  • Proven experience engaging with token issuers, foundations, or institutional clients, and closing complex deals.
  • Strong network in crypto and traditional finance sectors.
  • Familiarity with trading concepts and financial analysis tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related; advanced certifications like CFA or FRM are a plus.
  • Crypto Enthusiast : Passionate about digital assets and DeFi.
  • Strategic Thinker : Able to synthesize complex info and align strategies.
  • Collaborative : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
