Job Purpose

This position is based in Dubai, UAE.

Role Overview

As an Aircraft Technician - Line Maintenance in Dubai, UAE, you will be responsible for executing maintenance tasks on Emirates and third-party aircraft components according to company procedures and regulations. You will work as part of a team under the guidance of a licensed Aircraft Engineer, within your trained trade or cross-trade disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform routine aircraft, engine, and component servicing, maintenance, and approved structural repairs following manufacturer procedures while adhering to safety protocols for fluid replenishment, refueling, and system servicing.
2. Complete component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed by your supervisor, understanding and utilizing Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and other approved documentation.
3. Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification, and modifications, following instructions on job cards.
4. Promote a safety culture by minimizing accidents, reporting deficiencies, maintaining cleanliness and FOD control in work areas, and ensuring safety standards are met.
5. Maintain knowledge of airport safety regulations, hold and maintain an Airport Driving Permit, and comply with airport maneuvering area requirements.
6. Manage performance through close collaboration with your supervisor, using the MyBC system to develop training and development plans.
7. Attend promptly to all tasks to maximize ground time and prevent operational delays, communicating aircraft or component issues effectively during shift handovers.
8. Use your knowledge and experience to assist in resource allocation using RMS/RTC when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate (12+2) education
• Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organization, or hold an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
• At least 5 years of post-apprenticeship paid experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UAE.
