Job Description

The HR Manager – Car Rental Group is responsible for leading and overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resources operations across the organization. This role is pivotal in implementing strategic HR initiatives that support business growth, drive a performance-based culture, promote diversity and inclusion, and ensure compliance with Group HR policies. The HR Manager – Car Rental Group will serve as a strategic partner to business units, providing guidance on HR best practices and solutions to enhance workforce effectiveness.

  • Communicate HR plans and progress updates effectively across the HR function and business units within Car Rental Group.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within HR operations and practices.
  • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process and identify opportunities for improvement to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop, track, and report on key HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide support and guidance on employee relations issues; act as a trusted advisor to line managers.
  • Drive workforce optimization by creating and managing a lean, flexible, and multi-skilled workforce.
  • Monitor and report on employee-related costs and support line management with regular financial reporting.
  • Lead the annual manpower planning and budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives aligned with business needs and employee growth.
  • Design and execute performance management systems to enhance employee productivity and accountability.
  • Ensure the organization maintains focus on Emiratization and achieves its diversification objectives.
  • Measure employee engagement levels and implement initiatives and programs to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Group HR policies and strengthen internal controls and HR procedures as necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and nationalization initiatives (e.g., Emiratization).
  • Proven track record in driving HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
