Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world's largest wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team, working with colleagues to define, manage, and achieve divisional business targets.

In this role, you will:
  • The Premier proposition is a strategic priority for HSBC, and the Premier Service Manager plays a key supporting role in achieving its objectives.
  • This role is part of the Premier relationship team, supporting Premier clients to enhance customer experience and increase client engagement. You will support Premier Wealth Relationship Managers (PWRMs) in achieving KPIs related to activity management, client satisfaction, sales quality, acquisition, recurring income, and portfolio growth.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, especially in the absence of PWRMs, and may provide credit/lending support as market conditions require.
  • Build ongoing relationships based on value and service, demonstrating extensive knowledge of banking products and services across wealth and retail sectors.
Responsibilities include:
  1. Identifying client needs and solutions, focusing on KPIs such as NTB acquisition, upgrades, and successful referrals.
  2. Providing high-quality sales support to PWRMs, including appointment setting and client servicing assistance.
  3. Reducing administrative tasks to increase PWRMs' capacity.
  4. Supporting client contact management, including handling inquiries, managing key event reminders, and facilitating smooth hand-offs.
  5. Preparing sales documents, managing data input, and liaising with support functions to ensure smooth client purchase processes.
  6. Maintaining high input quality and error rates within acceptable levels.
  7. Building extensive knowledge of HSBC systems and procedures.
  8. Proactively identifying process improvement opportunities.
  9. Redirecting clients to the most effective channels and supporting their navigation of these channels.
  10. Ensuring a consistently professional and premium client experience.
  11. Maintaining high standards of control and operational practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduation degree is mandatory for visa and work permit purposes.
  • Strong interpersonal, empathy, decision-making, and delivery skills.
  • Minimum two years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in Retail/Premier sales preferred.
  • Understanding of core products, Premier proposition, and retail and wealth product processes.
  • Familiarity with relationship management systems (CRM, RM Platform).
  • Solid knowledge of branch operational procedures.
  • Money Laundering Awareness Certificate.
  • Knowledge of regulatory governance and compliance regulations.
  • Good knowledge of HSBC and personal banking services.
  • Team player with collaborative skills.
  • Ability to deliver client-centric solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
  • Professional and regulatory qualifications as required by the market.
  • Flexibility to adapt responsibilities based on regulatory, market size, and specific local market requirements.
