Title: Specialist Procurement Engineer

Responsibilities:
  1. Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies.
  2. Take responsibility for purchases supporting customer-related business processes or internal use.
  3. Discuss defects and delivery issues with suppliers and negotiate refunds.
  4. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and engineering to ensure proper scheduling and movement of goods and supplies.
  5. Use specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex problems or direct daily activities of a business, technical, or support team.
  6. Establish priorities for completing assigned tasks.
  7. Interpret internal and external issues to develop best practices, using judgment.
  8. May direct resources, prioritize tasks, and guide less experienced team members.
  9. Ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy, relying on experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of the field.
