About The Role

An exciting opportunity to join the Qatar Airways Outstations Team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We are recruiting for the role of Senior Airport Services Agent in Ground Services.

The successful candidate will provide quality service to passengers regarding check-in, boarding, special services, lounges, and baggage handling, adhering to QR’s safety and commercial standards to ensure consistent and efficient passenger and baggage handling.

Your Specific Responsibilities Include
  1. Coordinate with Check-in, transfer desk, and related areas for smooth passenger acceptance.
  2. Support Airport Services Supervisor in all operational areas.
  3. Escort and direct arriving/departing passengers to relevant areas such as hotel desk, visa counter, transfer desk, lounges, and boarding gates.
  4. Assist the duty officer with handling company materials and records.
  5. Coordinate with GHA for quick processing of hotel and transfer passengers.
  6. Ensure smooth passenger handling in collaboration with GHA.
  7. Assist passengers with entry requirements, visas, and residence permits.
  8. Ensure passengers are smoothly assisted through airport facilities.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the work unit.

What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in Airport Operations with a leading airline.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • High energy and a positive attitude to perform well in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with DCS and ticketing is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage mishandled baggage services and service recovery.
  • Completed courses in Passenger Handling and Customer Service preferred.
  • High computer literacy.
  • Strong customer focus and service delivery skills.
