Job Description: Position Summary

The HVAC Technician is responsible for evaluating problematic systems and determining necessary repairs. Duties also include implementing maintenance procedures. Significant experience in repair and maintenance is required. Certification verifying professional knowledge, skills, and experience may also be necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain PCA / AHU or similar units in compliance with regulations.
2. Conduct testing and inspection of PCA / AHU or similar units.
3. Support Operations and Maintenance Supervisor in managing adverse weather and low visibility conditions as per SOP.
4. Ensure workshop and in-field maintenance activities comply with OMM.
5. Perform corrective maintenance within SLA.
6. Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting following industry best practices; support the Supervisor during critical failures.
7. Coordinate with HSE officer to identify and escalate risks and hazards; ensure control measures are implemented.
8. Complete daily logs, forms, checklists, and records; provide daily reports to Supervisor.
9. Register all logs and service requests in Maximo.
10. Coordinate with stakeholders for approval of daily service activities.
11. Receive materials from the ADAC store and supply chain.
12. Read and interpret P&IDs, drawings, and procedures.
13. Assemble, modify, and install refrigeration or air conditioning components using hand and power tools.
14. Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
15. Troubleshoot and overhaul HVAC systems.
16. Start-up systems and test for leaks; recharge refrigerant, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance.
17. Troubleshoot and repair defective units efficiently.
18. Close completed work orders in the Help Desk system.
19. Procure materials in advance for upcoming work.
20. Ensure all work orders are accurately completed.

Profile / Requirements

• Technical knowledge of Air Handling Units.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical components.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Hiring Conditions

• Salary: 7000 AED per month.
• Work schedule: On shift duty (day or night).
