OPERATIONS ASST. MANAGER (Retail & Online Store)
SALARY: 15,000 - 18,000 AED
We're seeking an experienced and detail-driven Operations Assistant Manager to support and optimize the daily operations of our growing online and retail distribution business. This is a mid-level leadership role for someone who can manage workflows, spot operational issues before they escalate, and keep everything, from inventory to customer experience, running smoothly.
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years UAE experience, with at least 5 years in retail, e-commerce, or logistics
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with Shopify, CRM systems, and e-commerce technology
- Prior experience in managing teams and coordinating cross-functional departments
- In-depth understanding of logistics, supply chain planning, and fulfillment
- Solid troubleshooting skills, especially in spotting and resolving website or code-related issues
Key Responsibilities:
- General Operations Support
- Oversee all daily operations: e-commerce site, retail distribution, CRM, inventory, and delivery flow
- Ensure smooth internal workflows and task execution
Inventory & Supply Chain Management- Monitor inventory levels, supplier timelines, and restocking schedules
- Support in planning and procurement (with operations director) to avoid stockouts or overstocking
Order Fulfillment & Logistics- Coordinate with 3PL providers and delivery partners to ensure all systems are running smoothly and up to date
- Resolve delivery issues, streamline processes, and maintain logistics KPIs
Customer Experience- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure excellent post-purchase support and delivery timings
- Assist in resolving operational complaints or escalations
Technology & Automation- Identify and report website bugs, broken codes, or system errors to IT team
- Support CRM, automation tools, and e-commerce platform improvements
Supplier Negotiations & Budgeting Support- Help manage vendor communications, price quotes, and purchase planning
- Track operational costs and highlight savings opportunities
Team Coordination- Lead daily task alignment among ops, warehouse, and fulfillment staff
- Onboard new team members and share best practices (CS agents, admins)
Compliance & Quality Control- Maintain SOPs, regulatory documentation, and safety guidelines
- Assist in upholding product, packaging, and service quality standards. Request QA reports from warehouse partners when needed.
Reporting & Insights- Prepare operational reports and track performance metrics
- Identify inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives
Import & Export- Assist with global shipments, customs documentation, and freight schedules
- Coordinate international trade requirements and vendor follow-ups
The Retail Operations Manager must meet the following basics:
- A comprehensive understanding of the logistics system
- Experience in end-to-end process management

- Familiarity with leading e-commerce platforms (Shopify)
