A leading company in the UAE is seeking a financial professional to maintain accurate financial records, analyze costs, and support financial reporting. General Purpose of Role:
Maintains financial records and ensures proper recording of financial transactions. Ensures accuracy of ledger entries and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts with the general ledger. Understands balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Analyzes costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.
Global Level Summary: An intermediate position following defined processes and precedents to complete tasks with increasing independence within the area of specialty. This level typically involves ongoing training and development.
Decision Making: Performs varied and somewhat complex work under general supervision. Limited ability to recommend alternative solutions.
Supervision Received: Works under supervision and technical guidance with regular interactions with supervisor or manager. Work is reviewed for accuracy and conformance to procedures.
Supervision Authority: May assign and review work of junior staff but does not have authority for performance evaluations affecting pay.
Communication: Communicates ideas effectively, developing skills to persuade and influence others as needed.
Systems, Processes & Tools: Intermediate understanding of finance/accounting systems, processes, and tools.
