This role requires a hybrid blend of functional and technical expertise to optimize warehouse management processes, supply chain execution, and automation technologies in healthcare logistics and supply chain environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Oracle WMS Cloud, Oracle Fusion SCM, and their integration with broader enterprise applications.
The consultant will work closely with warehouse teams, procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders to drive best practices in order fulfillment, inventory management, supply chain planning, and automation while ensuring seamless system integration and:
- Oracle WMS Cloud Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy Oracle Cloud WMS solutions, ensuring alignment with healthcare-specific warehouse operations.
- Functional Expertise: Provide deep knowledge of inbound & outbound logistics, inventory optimization, picking, packing, putaway, cross-docking, slotting, and cycle counting.
- System Integration: Develop and manage data flows and middleware integrations between Oracle WMS and Oracle Fusion SCM, procurement, finance, and third-party logistics (3PL) systems.
- Technical Configuration & Customization: Configure rules-based fulfillment strategies, wave management, cartonization, task orchestration, and directed putaway algorithms.
- Warehouse Automation & IoT: Implement and optimize RFID, barcode scanning, voice-picking, robotics, and IoT-enabled tracking solutions.
- SQL & Data Mapping: Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, and FBDI templates for data mapping, migrations, and system troubleshooting.
- Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization: Identify, analyze, and resolve WMS-related issues, system inefficiencies, and process bottlenecks.
- Training & Change Management: Develop and deliver user training, SOPs, and knowledge transfer sessions for warehouse staff, IT teams, and business users.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain and financial strategies.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy, and security controls in warehouse management.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in CS/IT or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud WMS implementations, with 5+ large-scale projects.
- Experience with healthcare logistics and inventory management solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle WMS Cloud modules, including inbound & outbound logistics, warehouse execution, task management, putaway, picking, slotting, and cross-docking.
- Proficiency in warehouse operations, automation technologies, and supply chain workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud security, compliance standards such as SOX, FDA, HIPAA, relevant to healthcare warehouse operations.
