Job description

An investment advisor provides expert financial advice and guidance to clients regarding their investment needs through the Relationship Manager. The advice given depends on the requirements and assessment of each client. Therefore, investment advisors must prioritize the interests of the clients, as they have a fiduciary duty to serve them.

Key Accountabilities of the role

1. Educate clients regarding the range of applicable investment options available to them
2. Determine the risk tolerance of clients
3. Develop personally tailored investment solutions for clients
4. Follow through on the investment actions approved by clients
5. Maintain proper documentation of investment actions taken on behalf of clients with the Relationship Manager
6. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of investment products and financial market developments
7. Assist in achieving the Relationship Manager / Cluster Investment sales targets

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role

• In-depth knowledge of investment products and services, asset allocation strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Solid understanding of financial markets, preferably in the region
• CISI-SCA certification

Previous Experience required (if any)

Minimum of 10 years of financial experience, preferably in a similar role.
