The roles involve advising on M&A transactions, drafting agreements, and ensuring compliance with corporate laws. Ideal candidates will have 5-8 years of PQE and strong negotiation skills. This position offers a balance of flexibility and hands-on involvement, supporting legal and commercial objectives effectively.
M&A Lawyer - Fixed Term Assignment
We are seeking several highly skilled M&A Lawyers to join our clients across Dubai & Abu Dhabi for 6 month + assignments. The roles require a strong on-site presence and close collaboration with corporate, finance, and legal teams. You will be responsible for advising on M&A transactions, drafting and negotiating complex agreements and supporting the business through all stages of the deal cycle. The role offers a balance of flexibility and hands-on involvement to support the company's legal and commercial objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and corporate structuring, from due diligence to post-merger integration.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, and other corporate transaction documents.
Provide legal guidance on deal structuring, regulatory approvals, and compliance with corporate laws.
Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments for private and public company acquisitions.
Support cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with international and regional regulations.
Qualifications
5-8 years PQE admitted in a major international jurisdiction.
5+ years of M&A experience at either a top-tier international law firm or in-house within a corporate/M&A function.
Strong background in private equity, corporate transactions, and due diligence.
Proven ability to handle complex, high-value cross-border deals.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Regional experience required
Arabic language skills is a plus but not required.
