As part of our continued growth, Al Marwan Heavy Machinery is seeking a skilled and dedicated Finance Manager to join our team in Damascus. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our financial operations and play a strategic role in supporting business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely financial statements, forecasts, and budgets aligned with company objectives.
  • Analyze financial data and deliver actionable insights to support strategic planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
  • Develop and enforce internal financial controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Lead, support, and mentor the finance team to foster professional development and performance excellence.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the heavy machinery, construction, or industrial sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, standards, and reporting practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
