Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and curious early career professional to join our team. The successful candidate will support the development of advanced dashboards that enhance operational technology (OT) visibility across power systems. This role involves working closely with data sourced from Energy Management Systems (EMS), SCADA, and other OT platforms to extract, transform, and visualize key operational insights.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the intersection of energy systems, data analytics, and real-time control center operations.
Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand OT visibility requirements and translate them into dashboard design and data models
  • Extract and structure relevant data from EMS/SCADA systems and other OT databases
  • Clean, transform, and analyze data to derive meaningful insights for operational performance and situational awareness
  • Develop user-friendly, interactive dashboards using tools such as Explore BI, Grafana, Apache Superset or custom web-based frameworks
  • Support data validation, consistency checks, and documentation of data pipelines
  • Assist in preparing reports and visual summaries for internal stakeholders and utility clients
  • Participate in team workshops and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualification / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
  • Basic understanding of electrical grid operations, SCADA, or EMS concepts (coursework or project experience acceptable)
  • Strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge in data processing and visualization
  • Hands-on experience with one or more data tools such as Explore BI, Apache Superset, Python
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn OT systems and how data drives real-time energy decision-making
