We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support management with timely and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UAE VAT, corporate tax, MIS reporting, and financial analysis, and be capable of contributing to key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update accurate financial records, including general ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
Prepare comprehensive financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily cash flow to maintain liquidity.
Perform VAT calculations, ensure timely filing, and comply with UAE VAT laws.
Support corporate tax reporting and compliance activities as per UAE regulations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
Process payroll, ensuring compliance with UAE WPS and local labor laws.
Assist with both internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal company policies, and statutory regulations.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
Conduct financial analysis to assist in performance evaluation and business decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
2 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax, and financial compliance.
Proven experience with MIS reporting and financial analysis.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
