Job Summary

The Electrical Technician should be able to complete assigned jobs & tasks within the required time frame. They should be able to read and interpret technical drawings, determine the appropriate assembly tools and techniques, and complete the job as per the specifications provided in the Work Order package.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and understand the Work Order (WO) for the assigned job.
  2. Plan the sequence of necessary actions for job completion.
  3. Assemble the job according to the specifications in the Work Order package.
  4. Update and maintain documents related to work orders.
  5. Notify the supervisor of any mistakes or required as-built changes.
  6. Conduct hydrostatic tests or Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) of completed jobs only if authorized, at designated areas.
  7. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
  8. Report any machine problems or accidents immediately to the cell leader.
  9. Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the workshop as per 5S principles.
  10. Comply with all company and HSE procedures and policies.
  11. Perform any tasks or duties as requested by the cell leader.
  12. Be available for field service trips if required and for other activities requested by management.

  • Effective communication and harmonious work relationships with management, peers, staff, and clients.
  • Ability to develop a systematic and organized working environment.
  • Accept positive and negative feedback as opportunities for improvement and follow through on suggestions.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Basic knowledge of assembly techniques and tools.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical technician.
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Technical training certificate.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in electrical installation.
  • Familiarity with NOV K-Winch, WPCE, and WHE products.
