Terms of Reference: FP&A Analyst Family Office (Group Level)

Position Title: FP&A Analyst Family Office (Group Level)

Department: Finance

Reports To: Head of Finance

1. Purpose

The FP&A Analyst Family Office (Group Level) drives financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making across Group's diverse portfolio (real estate, oil, logistics). Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role builds dynamic financial models, supports group-wide budgeting and forecasting, consolidates performance reports, and optimizes capital allocation to achieve the ultimate goal. The Analyst collaborates on Oracle and OMS integration, ensuring data-driven insights for leadership, without overlap with HR, administrative, front-office, marketing, or project accounting functions.

2. Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling and Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models for real estate projects, JV structures, and investment opportunities across business units.
  • Analyze project finance metrics, funding waterfalls, and ROI to support strategic investments.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Support group-wide budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting, aligning with capital availability and growth target.
  • Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to optimize financial performance.
  • Performance Reporting:
  • Consolidate financial performance reports across real estate, oil, and logistics verticals for management and shareholder reporting.
  • Develop board packs, executive dashboards, and KPI's for leadership.
  • Capital and Liquidity Management:
  • Analyze liquidity, working capital, and fund allocations across entities, recommending capital optimization strategies.
  • Support group treasury in structuring project finance, corporate finance, and refinancing options for JVs and developments.
  • ERP and OMS Integration:
  • Collaborate with ERP implementation teams to define FP&A modules, reporting logic, and data flows for Oracle roll-out, ensuring alignment with OMS.
  • Input financial KPIs and forecast data into OMS for CEO Dashboard accuracy and operational transparency.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Support:
  • Ensure financial models and reports comply with UAE real estate regulations and JV accounting standards. Maintain documentation for audits and shareholder reviews.

3. Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CFA) preferred.
  • Experience: 35 years in FP&A or corporate finance, ideally in a family office, holding company, or real estate investment group within the UAE or GCC.
  • Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, project finance metrics, and funding waterfalls.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial dashboards.
  • Familiarity with UAE real estate regulations and JV accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of OMS or similar systems for financial data integration.
  • Attributes: Analytical, strategic, detail-oriented, adept at communicating insights to leadership, and capable of managing tight deadlines.

4. Performance Metrics

  • Financial Modeling: 95% accuracy in models and forecasts, validated by Head of Finance.
  • Reporting: 100% on-time delivery of board packs, dashboards, and KPIs with 95% accuracy.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting: 90% alignment of budgets with strategic goals.
  • Capital Optimization: Implement at least two actionable capital strategies per year.
  • ERP/OMS Integration: 100% accuracy in FP&A module data and OMS financial inputs.
  • Compliance: 100% adherence to RERA, FTA, and audit requirements.

5. Working Conditions

  • Hours: Full-time, 4048 hours per week (per UAE Labour Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 33/2021), with occasional overtime for budgeting cycles or board reporting deadlines.
  • Compensation: 15,00020,000 AED/month (UAE benchmark for mid-level FP&A roles in family offices/real estate), plus standard benefits (health insurance, 30 days annual leave).

6. Reporting and Collaboration

  • Direct Report: Head of Finance, ensuring alignment with group financial strategy and reporting.
  • Collaboration:
  • Works with heads of units to gather data for models and reports.
  • Collaborates with IT and ERP teams for Oracle/OMS integration.
  • Liaises with treasury for financing structures.
