Job description

Currie & Brown is seeking an Electrically biased Senior Project Manager with datacentre construction experience to join our team in the UAE. As an Electrical SPM, you will manage project stakeholders and provide specialist leadership to the project team.

What will you be doing
  1. Responsible for project definition and delivery related to electrical aspects.
  2. Collaborate with the wider project team to ensure effective project delivery.
  3. Apply industry best practices to review and manage project processes and policies, offering insightful recommendations that support senior management in improving processes and systems with MEP.
  4. Engage proactively across the organization to foster collaboration and ensure project delivery aligns with customer expectations.
  5. Advise senior management on project progress and issues, providing subject matter expertise to support successful delivery.
  6. Present project risks or issues to senior managers with proposed mitigation strategies to prevent adverse impacts and ensure compliance standards are met.
  7. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to keep all parties informed about project progress and expectations.
  8. Contribute to delivering Currie & Brown's vision across assigned projects.
What do you need
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Background in construction/project management.
  3. Experience with MEP on new build data centre projects.
  4. Proven leadership skills and alignment with company values.
  5. Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract phases.
  6. Knowledge of industry best practices.
  7. Ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
