Job Description

About Us:

The Facilities Engineer will oversee the technical operations and maintenance of Asico Real Estate s property portfolio. This includes ensuring optimal performance of building systems, coordinating service providers, and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programs aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) across residential and commercial buildings.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and vendors for repair, maintenance, and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve building system malfunctions, including HVAC, elevators, fire safety, and building automation systems.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and asset performance reports.
  • Support the fit-out approval process and handover inspections for new tenants or projects.
  • Recommend energy-saving initiatives and improvements for building efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, and other relevant authority guidelines.
  • Manage emergency maintenance issues with minimal disruption to tenants.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
  • 4+ years of facilities management experience, ideally within the Dubai real estate sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, fire & safety codes, and facility operations.
  • Experience with CAFM or CMMS (Computer-Aided Facilities Management systems).
  • Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).
  • UAE driving license is a plus.
  • Knowledge of local authority regulations (RERA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies
