Position:Field Service Engineer

The Position / About The Job

To deliver profitable growth in line with ALME's financial objectives by executing the assigned Field service jobs in the most efficient way. To improve customer experience by fulfilling the commitment and securing service quality. To support new sales and service sales activities. To provide technical support to customers.

Key Tasks And Responsibilities

Directly responsible for the Field Service Job Execution of Boilers and Inert gas systems, Quality of Service report, Updating reports and settings in CDM, Timely update of TKS, Customer satisfaction survey report. Responsible for the overall service operations business objectives by providing competent and quality customer service to fulfil customer commitments. Indirectly responsible for the overall Regional Service & Marine objectives and growth targets.

  • Undertaking servicing of equipment's as per customer satisfaction and on time.
  • Meeting Field service KPI's aligned customers requirements
  • Explore business development in every possible opportunity.
  • Support Warranty claim handling
  • Explore opportunities for new performance agreements/ service contracts
  • Acquire up-to-date technical knowledge about products and applications
  • Capture and update installed base

Safety

  • Ensure use of adequate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during every service visit
  • Adhere to safety instructions/ policy diligently
  • Report Safety issues and ensuring safe working

Market Intelligence, Customer Insight Customer Satisfaction

  • Resolve customer complaints at the shortest possible time.
  • Proactive recommendation to customers for timely purchase of spares.
  • Follow up on actions and promises made to customers
  • Communicate Product related change notifications
  • Train customers in installed products
  • Receive/gather customers insight and feedback and communicate/act on same
  • Communicate the sales leads to sales organization

Reporting

  • Ensure documentation of every visit and minute all observations and commitments with customer.

Upload reports and settings in CDM

Competencies, Experience And Attitudes To Do The Job

Technical competency, Customer Focus, Planning and securing Quality to serve customers. Strong Communication and excellent team player.

Engineering graduate with minimum 2-3 years working experience in similar position.
